Sophia Eham grew up in Tegernsee. Since 2011 she has been living and working in Rio de Janeiro and Munich. 

She graduated in Industrial Design in Barcelona at Eina and at IUVA in Venice. After work experience at CAM Chelsea Museum of Art in New York and Nilufar Gallery in Milan, she continues her studies at EAV Parque Lage, School of Visual Arts in Rio de Janeiro.

She exhibited her work at EAV of Visual Arts School Parque Lage (Rio de Janeiro), at Studio Gennai Gallery (Pisa) and Kunstraum Gallery (Munich).


The artist refers to a feminine world with portraits and self-portraits. They are fragments and collages of photographies that explore an personal expression of feminity and intimacy as well as it consists of a research on our contemporary way of living a nomad's life. 

 

 

 













 

Currently she lives and works in Munich and Rio de Janeiro.
